Mercedes-Maybach GLS was globally premiered at the Auto Guangzhou 2019. The German carmaker said the new vehicle sets the highest standards of comfort in the SUV segment.
Maybach GLS is powered by a V8 engine, which can develop 558 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque. The engine variant is developed exclusively for Maybach and moves the car discreetly and powerfully. The engine is combined with the 48-volt system EQ Boost.
The fine, vertical chrome struts of the Maybach radiator grille create a pinstripe effect. Effective chrome highlights around the side windows, and the chrome inserts in the side sill panels, lend dignity and elegance to the profile.
Having addressed the supply chain issues that plagued it last year, Mercedes-Benz India is also sticking to its original plan to bring 15 new products in the market this year despite the launch of its SUV GLA delayed by almost a month due to a fresh surge in COVID-19 cases in April.
Earlier in 2021, Mercedes-Benz India introduced refreshed GLC, E-Class and GLA and the new A-Class.
